FIELDSTRIP FIELDSTRIP L.L.C. · LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA

Firearm maintenance,
step by step.

Fieldstrip is a guided cleaning and maintenance app for firearm owners. Illustrated, animated field-strip instructions built from 3D-rendered diagrams — plus the record-keeping a safe, well-maintained collection deserves. It's a workbench companion: the phone in your pocket at the range, the tablet propped on the mat at the bench.

The product

Guided cleaning, the way a manual should work. Fieldstrip walks you through field-stripping and cleaning your specific firearm with animated, step-by-step diagrams rendered from 3D models — each part highlighted as you work, each step gated behind a safety check confirming the firearm is clear. Procedures follow manufacturer guidance, including optional deep-clean paths where the factory manual documents them, and clear stop-points where work belongs to a qualified gunsmith.

GUIDE

Guided clean player

Illustrated field-strip and cleaning sequences with animated part diagrams, safety gates, and per-model procedures for pistols, shotguns, and rifles.

DIAGRAM

Parts diagrams

Exploded IPB-style views with numbered callouts, built from the same 3D renders as the guides. Tap a part to identify it.

TRACK

Ammo locker

Ammunition inventory with barcode check-in, automatic round-count deduction as you log range sessions, and low-stock flags.

TRACK

Magazines & rotation

Magazines as first-class items — capacity, role, and carry-rotation timers.

MAINTAIN

Care reminders

Cleaning intervals, spring-life tracking, and scheduled reminders delivered as phone notifications. Factory maintenance notes surfaced where manufacturers publish them.

RECORD

Service, mods & zero

A complete logbook per firearm: service and modification records, zero records by load and distance, and suppressor fouling logs.

Safety first, always. Fieldstrip is a maintenance aid, not a substitute for your firearm's owner's manual or for professional gunsmithing. Every guide begins with a verified-clear safety gate, and the app is intended for lawful owners aged 18 and over.

AT THE BENCHBuilt for the cleaning session

The serious hobbyist doesn't strip a firearm on a phone screen. Fieldstrip runs full-screen on a tablet propped at the bench — large-format part diagrams, step-by-step pacing you set by hand, and records that update as you work. Everything runs fully offline, on phone and tablet alike, so the cleaning mat is the only thing on the bench that needs your attention.

Blueprint figure of an AR-pattern rifle field strip frozen at step 5 of 9, 'Pivot the upper open' — the upper receiver hinged open and highlighted with the guide's amber glow, a rotate marker at the front pivot pin, and the five field-strip groups numbered. Rendered from the app's real guide art.

Not a pistol this time. FIG. 3 is a live step from the AR-pattern guide, rendered from the same 3D part art as every guide — each family field-strips with the same illustrated, marked-up steps.

Capability index

What's actually inside. Fieldstrip isn't a checklist with a firearm theme — it's an illustrated armorer's reference, built family by family and render by render. Every figure on this page is live app art; every number below is pulled from the shipping build.

Catalog
457 firearms & suppressors indexed — 175 pistols, 134 rifles, 50 shotguns, 49 revolvers, 49 suppressors.
Guided platforms
12 platform families routed to 11 illustrated guides — Glock, 1911, AR-15/10, X95, 870 & 500 pump, double- and single-action revolver, and serviceable / sealed / rimfire suppressors.
Models with a guide
174 of 457 models field-strip with a guide — every revolver and every suppressor, plus the Glock, 1911, AR, X95, 870 and 500 families.
Guide depth
14 steps in the deepest guide — the Glock, field strip through deep clean, each step a rendered and marked-up part diagram.
Deep-clean branches
5 guides continue past the field strip into a full deep clean — Glock, 1911, both revolver actions, and the 500 pump.
Detail-inset renders
4 deep-clean close-ups on the Glock alone — backplate, striker, extractor, and breech face (FIG. 2).
Trackers
Ammo locker (manual or barcode check-in, round-count deduction, low-stock flags), per-magazine records with carry-rotation timers, care reminders, recoil-spring life, a service / mods / zero logbook, and NFA records with a stored tax-stamp photo.
Architecture
0 network permissions in the release build — no INTERNET access is even declared, so everything you log stays on the device. See privacy posture ↓

Free & Pro

The whole toolkit is free to start — and it's generous. Every guided field strip, every parts diagram, and the core logbook are free, with no account and no trial clock. Pro is for the growing collection and the deeper work: more firearms, the detail-level clean, and the records a serious owner keeps.

FreeINCLUDED — NO ACCOUNT

Everything you need to strip, clean, and keep records for a couple of firearms.

  • Guided field strips — every catalog family: pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, suppressors.
  • Parts diagrams — exploded, numbered callouts; tap a part to identify it.
  • Two firearms in the safe — full tracking for each.
  • One custom firearm entry — a full-featured tracker for a model not in the catalog.
  • Ammo locker — manual check-in, round-count deduction as you log range days, low-stock flags.
  • Magazine records — capacity and role tracked per magazine.
  • Care reminders — cleaning intervals delivered as phone notifications.
  • Service & mods logbook — service, repair, and modification records per firearm.
ProEVERYTHING IN FREE, PLUS

For the full collection and the detail-level work a dedicated owner does.

  • Unlimited firearms — track the whole safe, not just two.
  • Unlimited custom entries + “Strips like…” — assign any platform's guide and parts diagram to a clone the catalog doesn't cover yet.
  • Deep Clean guides — the detailed strip past the field strip, down to the breech face (FIG. 2), where a guide has one.
  • Barcode ammo check-in — scan a box straight into the locker.
  • Zero records — distance, load, and optic notes, so a re-zero starts from facts.
  • Recoil-spring life — round-count tracking against the service interval, with a replacement log.
  • Magazine carry-rotation timers — reminders to rotate carry mags and rest the spring on schedule.
  • Suppressor fouling log — baseline, weigh-ins, and a clean-due threshold, by weight.
  • NFA record — Form 4/1 dates, stamp reference, and a stored photo of the stamp.
  • Firearm requests — ask us to add a missing model from inside the app.

Your records are always yours. Everything you log stays on your device whether you upgrade or not — and if a Pro period ever lapses, nothing you recorded is deleted; it's simply there again when you upgrade.

Privacy posture

Your records stay on your device. Fieldstrip is local-first: firearm records, ammunition inventory, and maintenance history are stored on your phone, not on our servers. Request a firearm

Don't see your firearm? Tell us. The catalog grows by demand. Fill in what you'd like a guided clean for and we'll add it to the queue — the most-requested platforms get built first.

This composes an email in your own mail app — this site has no server and collects nothing.
Didn't open? Copy the request

Then email it to contact@fieldstripllc.com.

In the app, firearm requests are a Pro feature; from the web, this form is all it takes. For anything else, reach us at contact@fieldstripllc.com.
